The Greater Cincinnati Tech Prep Consortium links members to national, state and local partners for professional enrichment. As resources are available, stipends are offered to consortium members who elect professional development related to Tech Prep program responsibilities.
Who’s eligible for a stipend?
Stipends may be available to technical and academic teachers who need certification or alternative licensure. Members who want to attend the Ohio College Tech Prep Summer Academy will have funding priority. School teams wishing to participate in College Tech Prep-sponsored activities are invited to submit team stipend applications.
How do I apply?
To apply for a professional development stipend, complete an application action plan, including a proposed budget. The plan must be signed by your supervisor and returned to the consortium office.
How can stipends be used?
Professional development stipends can be used for registration fees, tuition for graduate credit, travel expenses—such as mileage, food, and lodging—software, workshop materials and project expenses. Expenses related to personal time in unstructured events is not allowed.
How are stipends awarded?
Stipends are awarded based on application merit and fund availability. The consortium reserves the right to amend requests and offer funding and/or program alternatives.
