Scholarship Opportunities

  • Cincinnati Scholarship Foundation
The foundation administers many different scholarship funds and makes awards to as many students as possible who meet fund requirements. Most of these scholarship funds are considered last dollar awards which cover a portion of the unmet needs after all other aid has been awarded. To be considered for all CSF scholarships, you must complete a scholarship application and forward it with a copy of your most recent transcript by April 30. Complete the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA). Once you have decided which college or university you are attending, forward to the foundation a copy of your financial aid award letter and page 1 of the Student Aid Report (SAR). Applications must be submitted prior to the April 30 deadline, whether or not the financial aid notice or SAR has been received.
    Deadline: April 30, 2006

  • Southern State Community College

Trustee Scholarships are granted by the Board of Trustees of Southern State Community College to encourage worthy students to pursue their academic careers at the college. Except, as noted, Trustee Scholarships require that the student enroll for and complete a minimum of twelve (12) credit hours each quarter. Students are strongly advised to seek the help of a faculty advisor before selecting a program scholarship rather than other scholarships for which they may be eligible. Partial or full scholarships are available for full time students. Applicants may be interviewed and recommended by the Tech Prep faculty advisor. Eligibility is based upon being enrolled in an eligible approved Tech-Prep program and continuing with Southern State in the same area of concentration.
Priority Deadline: March 15, 2006 or until funds are depleted.
